The Latest News from DPCC

Sock Hop
There will be a Sock Hop at the club on May 16th from 7 – 10 pm for ages 10 - 14. There is a $10 entrance fee with pizza and refreshments for sale.  Please have your kids distribute a copy of the flier  to their friends at school and playgrounds.

Splash Day

Splash Day is the official opening of the DPCC pool for the summer on May 24th starting at 11:00 am!  Members or non-members can join in the fun on this special day.  Tell your non-member neighbors to visit us and ask about our membership drive special.  There will be plenty of pool games for the kids and the Bar-B-Que pit will be smok'n!  Come on out and enjoy this fun day for the entire family.

SWIM PRACTICES ARE SCHEDULED TO BEGIN MONDAY, MAY 19 - 5:30PM.

Tennis

Second Workday
If you missed the opportunity to help beautify our club on the first workday, you will have another chance on May 17th from 9 am to 1 pm. There is still a lot of work to be done which includes more work around the pool, gardening/landscaping, work on the mantel in the big room and whatever else Terri can find for us to do.

If you cannot make either of these dates to help with club maintenance please check with Terri Murphy because she can put you to work at a time that is convenient for you.

First Workday

The DPCC Board of Directors would like to thank all of those that participated in our first DPCC work day of 2008 on Saturday April 19th. Following is a list of those that participated:

Some of the important work that was completed by these dedicated individuals:

Grouting, patching, and cleaning of the big pool, painting of the fence around the pool and exterior walls of the exercise room, replacement of fence boards, removal of outdoor carpet on the pool deck, repair of pool deck wooden structure and preparation for installation of new carpet, cleaning of the back deck and area, pressure washing of the patio, trimming/landscaping around the pool, super cleaning and organizing in the kitchen, reattaching of the wind screens on the tennis courts and cleaning of the tennis courts.
